Calm your skin from the inside out
You’ve tried every cream, cut out foods and changed your washing powder. The steroid creams help for a while, then it flares again.
Your skin is often the messenger, not the source. Chronic eczema and psoriasis are usually driven by inflammation and immune signals that start deeper: in the gut, the liver, the nervous system and your nutrient status.
When I connect a client’s skin to their gut, it’s often the moment everything makes sense. That’s where we start.

Skin conditions I work with
- Chronic or adult eczema
- Psoriasis and scalp psoriasis
- Acne and hormonal breakouts
- Rosacea and flushing
- Hives and itchy skin
- Skin that flares with stress, food, alcohol or your cycle

What's often behind it
- Gut health. Dysbiosis and a leaky gut lining drive immune activation that shows up on the skin.
- Histamine. Slow histamine clearance can fuel itching, flushing and hives.
- Inflammation. Diet, blood sugar and omega-3 status all shape inflammatory signals.
- Nutrient gaps. Zinc, vitamin D, omega-3 and vitamin A are key for skin barrier and immune health.
- Liver and detox pathways, which clear hormones and inflammatory by-products.
- Stress. The nervous system and skin are closely linked, and flares often follow stressful periods.
- Hormones, especially for acne.
How I work with you
We look beneath the skin to find what’s driving your flares.
- Investigate. Your skin history, triggers, gut symptoms, diet and stress.
- Test where it helps. A comprehensive stool test, functional blood analysis, or a histamine or detox DNA test.
- Plan. Gut repair, anti-inflammatory nutrition, targeted nutrients and stress support.
- Support. Skin turns over slowly, so we review progress every few weeks.

Skin condition FAQs
How long until I see a difference in my skin?
Skin cells renew roughly every four to six weeks, so most people notice changes within two to three months, sometimes sooner.
Should I stop my creams or medication?
No. Keep using what your doctor or dermatologist has prescribed. Nutrition works alongside it, and many clients find they need less over time.
Do I need to cut out lots of foods?
Usually not long term. If you react to more and more foods, it often points to gut and immune issues that we can work on, so your diet can widen again.
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes. All consultations are online and I work with clients around the world. Most of the tests I use can be shipped internationally.
Will I need functional testing?
Not always. Testing is optional, and I only recommend tests that will change what we do. We decide together on your strategy call.
